“Go Aztecs! A Fan Looks Back at the First 788 Games He Saw”
From the time he enrolled as a San Diego State freshman in the fall of 1946 until his passing in October 2017, Tom Ables was a dedicated fan of Aztec football; the embodiment of what it means to be an “Aztec for Life.” In loving memory of Tom, his family has generously decided to give all future proceeds from book sales to Aztec Link to support SDSU student athletes pursing NIL opportunities.

The Aztecs celebrated a 72-71 victory over the Owls, propelling them to their first-ever national championship game.
